$800 CRX!!Â
This how it looked when I bought it. Purchased because I wanted a running and driving project car, as seen in the background, my other project car was not running and driving.
Initially I liked this 'find what works' turn signal light.
I should've passed as soon as I saw this rattle can horrific engine bay paint job. I was naĂŻve, and I really really really wanted a CRX.
Rusted arches - also a reason to run away.
Very rough interior.
This welded-in cup holder is, amazing?
Wasn't even wired to the fog lights.
Slow improvements
Updated driver's seat, swapped in nicer passenger seat, steering wheel replaced, DIY dash console, center console out of EG Civic. Still using vice grips as a door handle!
Suspension upgrades! Coilovers, upper and lower control arms, wheel bearings, tie rods, ball joints, and steering rack refresh.
Swapping tachometer for higher redline.
I drove a couple hours to pick spare hatch as it was cheaper than buying a single hinge replacement on eBay.
A CRX finally came into the Pick-n-Pull yard, and I finally acquired a center console.Â
And very clean passenger seat.
Swapping seat base to newer seat.
Transmission code sticker. Long gears, not the short fun ones.
Si trans acquired!
Bay [mostly] empty and sanded for paint. I will mask and bag the wiring and other parts.
Fog Light switch found at the Pick-n-Pull.Â

Back on the road with new wheels!
Front end is still wonky.
Transmission issues
I was having transmission shifting issues. I had pull it apart.
Transmission magnet to catch depbris.
Reinstalling transmission.
Updated and overhauled shift linkage.
At my new place.
Finally have garage. Time for a limited slip differential for the CRX.
